#GlamuletPinkOctober Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For some  people you might not know or be concerned with this it hasn't affected you. But for millions of people they are losing their loves. This is a recent realization for me as my mom passed away from stage 4 breast cancer in March of this year at only 52, 4 months after she was diagnosed. She waited, DON'T! So lets show our support for PINK OCTOBER!

It's when the globe takes a month to show support for your cousin, mom, sister, aunt, grandmother, or friend, or neighbor. That one woman or even man struggling everyday to live because their body is fighting them. The ones who have to visit the doctor 20 miles away weekly to pump toxins into their bodies so they can live to see their grandchildren, their child get married or graduate high school. Wearing Pink during the month of October shows you care.

What can you do to help?

What I'll be sporting this PINK OCTOBER is Glamulet's pink charms. 50% of all proceeds of sales go to a charity involved with breast cancer. Let's give Hope to those who want it, Support to those who need it, Strength and Love to everyone fighting this disease.

imPRESS Press-On Manicure Review

One of the best non-natural products I've had the chance to try out are these new gel press-on nails from imPRESS. I will say they are great. They are very practical, cheap, and easy for a MOM ON THE GO, like me!

They are easy to apply and stay on a long time (and I wash my hands at least 15 times a day, as well as bathing everyday). These nails mean you can do it on your own time. No making time in your day to visit a salon, waiting when you have an appointment, listening to a conversation you don't understand (probably regarding yourself) and not leaving with an extra $30 added to your full set you came in for because you were talked into the "extras".  This product also spares you from breathing in the harsh chemicals and I was grateful because I have very naturally thin, brittle nails. This product had no splitting or peeling after I took them off, which can't be said for the pricey salon nails, that get super-glued to your natural nails.

The product comes with a small file and a nail cleanser. So, everything you need is included. Following the instructions in the package you cleanse the nail, wash your hands, peel the backing off and press on. The ULTRAHOLD TECHNOLOGY keeps the nails on. There is NO DRYING TIME and NO MESS.

So, the only downside I had was I was hoping that they would last the 5-7 days as stated. I got pretty close though. 4 1/2 days to be exact and as this was my 1st rodeo with press-on maybe I could try again to see if that may be the reason.

Everyone loved my nails. They looked like I went to the salon to get them done. Oh, and they retail between $5.49-$7.99 at some big chain stores, so they are convenient to pick up. They also come in so may bright and bold colors that have MEGA GEL SHINE. There are so many that there is something for everyone.

$7.99 / Walgreens
